Dr. Benson Clarke holds an 093 Superintendent Certification from the University of Connecticut — the highest level of educational leadership licensure in Connecticut. Her educational journey also includes studies at Sacred Heart University and Nova Southeastern University.

As a parent herself, Dr. Benson Clarke brings a deeply personal perspective to her work. Her career has taken her through every level of education — from classroom teacher in both general and special education, to Director of Special Education, Principal, Director of a Private School, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent.

Her leadership extends beyond the classroom and the central office. Dr. Benson Clarke has served on a Board of Education as Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman, and as a member of ConnCASE, the statewide organization dedicated to excellence in special education leadership.

This breadth of experience — as a parent, teacher, administrator, and elected leader — is what makes Dr. Benson Clarke a uniquely qualified Education Architect. She has sat at every table, and she knows what it takes to build systems where every child can succeed.

Her mission is clear: to provide the blueprint that helps students, families, and schools build something extraordinary.
